4.4. European Democratic Party (EDP)
The European Democratic Party (EDP) is a centrist European political party in favour of European integration. It was initiated on April 16, 2004 and formally founded on December 9 in Brussels. The EDP embraces 13 parties, and movements from European States. In the European Parliament the EDP is represented by ALDE (see the previous Website!). In the Committee of the Regions the members of the EDP belong to the group of European Democrats and Liberals.

From Estonia there are no Members in the EDP, but represented are Lithuania, France, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Belgium, Ireland, San Marino, Poland, and Slovakia.
